WUFI 1D Results Error

Post by Ned Lyon »

I think I have come across a problem with the 1D results graph. I am simulating concrete in a metal deck. The bottom of the model is stepped to approximate the angle of the deck flute. The model runs OK and WUFI Graph displays the results of the simulation, even though the files are very large. The 1D graph is not collecting the correct data. If I plot the RH for a point, look at the last time step data value and compare it to the WUFI Graph, I have results that varry by 3 to 4 %. I suspect that 1D graph gets lost in the values as it steps up. It does not have the same problem with a simple rectangle model, and the file size does not make a difference. I can send you a model to try if you like.

Hi Ned,
I send you a PM.
Before you choose the grid elements for output, did you make sure, that there are no other elements marked. Because iWufiGraph shows you the mean values of all selected grid elements and the grid elements stay marked from the last graph.
Best regards,
Christian

I pick only one point at a time. It will take a bit to send file, it is on another machine. Will get it to you asap.
