My question is how can I find Asphalt Shingle Material and Self-Adhering Membrane in WUFI or alternative material in WUFI?

Hello Alina,

there is a material called "Asphalt Shingle System" in the Northamerican Datasource.
You can find them with the database search function (WUFI Pro 6.x). Just enter asphalt.
For the membrane search one with the same sd-value or permeability as your one, that will do it.

When I search "asphalt" in WUFI Plus database, there is no "asphalt system", I only can find "asphalt impregnated paper".
The version of WUFI Plus I am using is V.2.5.4.0.

The "Asphalt Shingle System" has a perm-in rating of 0.0472, meaning that it would have a perm rating of 0.3. This seems low--don't most asphalt shingles have a perm rating of around 0.9? (http://www.owenscorning.com/NetworkShar ... r-2011.pdf)
