Error loading files after minor update to v7.2.6

I've just done the minor update to v7.2.6 and then most of my files don't load. See screenshot for error message. Seems there's some internal validation of file data - I suspect it's related to some material files that are used that have been sent from manufacturers that some internal check doesn't like. Older files that I remember didn't use those materials are still opening.

I've contacted support, but thought I should post on here as well in case someone else has the same issue!
