Problems with processing

Post by avp081090 »

Greetings

Im having troubles processing my file. It takes just one second for it to finish and it doesn´t give me any error messages, all it displays is this image:

This means at least one of your grid-volumes has height of zero (dy=0.00).
You need to check your geometry and grid. Most likely there are rectangles having different x-coordinates intended to start/end at same y-coordinates. But the y-coordinates are not exactly the same.

Ahh okay..it did say something about layer#23 (where ever this is?) had a thickness of 0. This is probrably the issue

hmm very weird..located which component that caused the problem, but as far as i could tell its coordinates was in perfect harmony with the components around it. I also tried different number of grid elements but that didn´t help either.

I finally got it to work after i moved som things around and made the component bigger.

Hmm.. got the same problem again and can´t figure out how to solve this problem. I have gone through the geometry and everything seems to fit perfectly - so it has to do with the grid settings?

Best regards

Could you post your geometry (copy/paste the content of the geometry editor)?

Wow - never thought about such complicated geometries!

I guess the problems are caused by the 1/1000 mm. Usually we limit our layers to 1mm.

Would it be possible to redefine your construction to avoid fractions of mm?

it is a crosssection of a window so it can be easily become complicated :)

okay so it is because some of my lengths are fx 20.225? so perhaps i should try to make it in integer mm.

I will try to redefine it - I will let you know if it works :) Thanks
